‘The Kerala Story’ earns double on Sunday, difficult to beat ‘Kashmir Files’

According to the report of ‘Box Office India’, the film made on a budget of Rs 15-20 crores has made an impressive net collection of Rs 10 crores on Sunday, the 17th day of its release. Earlier on Saturday, the film had earned Rs 8.50 crore.

Left behind by ‘The Kashmir Files’
Telling the story of three girls from Kerala, this film is based on the story of forced conversion and recruitment of girls into terrorist organizations like ISIS. The film has been compared to Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘The Kashmir Files’ since its inception. Compared to the figures of the third weekend, ‘The Kashmir Files’ collected Rs 30 crores. In this context, ‘The Kerala Story’ is 6 crores behind. However, most of the earnings of ‘The Kashmir Files’ came from bulk bookings.
