In the first trailer of the film, it was claimed that around 32,000 women went missing in Kerala and were tricked into becoming terrorists. When there was a ruckus about this claim, the makers mentioned only 3 women instead of 32 thousand in the second trailer. A political tussle has erupted over this claim.

Debt case against NCP leader!
FIR against Jitendra Awhad: NCP leader Jitendra Awhad was so enraged that he threatened to hang director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Amritlal Shah at the Chowk. Now a person has filed a case against him at Thane police station. Amidst all this, The Kerala Story has been made tax free in UP and Madhya Pradesh, while it has been banned in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
Sudipto Sen’s reaction came
Regarding the death threat of NCP leader Jitendra Awhad, Sudipto Sen told ‘Aaj Tak’ that only those politicians who have not seen the film are talking like this. Those who have seen the movie are now supporting it. This is all politics, it has nothing to do with reality. Sudipto has also urged those leaders to watch the film and claimed that after watching it, their opinion about the film will change.
Bollywood is doing ‘silent’ support
Sudipto Sen made another disclosure that Bollywood is supporting the film ‘Silent’. He has been congratulated by many B-Town celebrities over the phone. Not only this, Sudipto himself has forbade him to praise the film in public as Bollywood is going through a bad phase at the moment and he does not want any kind of trouble to come.
