Tamil Nadu has boycotted the film

Theaters in Tamil Nadu boycotted the film. The film’s teaser has been widely criticized for claiming that 32,000 girls from Kerala had fled the state to join ISIS. The Kerala High Court had asked the makers to remove the film’s teaser from the promotional campaign. The West Bengal government led by Mamata Banerjee has banned the film.
