Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor’s debut film Ishq Vishk is returning in a new form. This film titled Ishq Vishk Rebound has great actors like Rohit Saraf, Pashmina Roshan, Jibran Khan and Nyla Grewal. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 28 June 2024.

On Friday, the makers of the film released a video and announced the release date of the film. The video has 2D animation. In this, it is said through voice-over that for a romantic comedy, all you need is love, friendship, drama and a lot of confusion. After this, the title track sung by singer Sonu Nigam starts playing.

The story of Ishq Vishk, released 20 years ago, revolves around two childhood friends Rajiv (played by Shahid) and Payal (played by Amrita Rao). As the two friends grow up, Payal starts falling in love with Rajiv, but Rajiv is unaware of her feelings. The film emerged as a sleeper hit. Produced by Ramesh Taurani and Jaya Taurani, Ishq Vishk Rebound is directed by the accomplished Avinash Dharmadhikari. This film will be released in theaters on 28 June 2024.
