The wait is over! ‘Dayaben’ to enter TMKOC after 6 years, Asit Modi confirms

TMKOC producer Asit Modi has confirmed the return of Disha Vakani as ‘Dayaben’ in the SAB TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah which recently completed 15 years in the world of television.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah the television show has reached a milestone by completing 15 glorious years and is still going strong despite all the controversies and dramas. Recently, during a special event of the show, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah producer Asit Modi was happy to announce the return of actress Disha Vakani aka ‘Dayaben’ to the show. Disha Vakani essaying the role of ‘Dayaben’ and being the lifeblood of the show left a lasting impression on the audience with her excellent comic timing and laughter that stole the show’s charm.

Asit Modi took this opportunity to express his heartfelt gratitude to the audience and congratulated the entire cast and crew of the show for achieving such a remarkable feat and thus announced their much-awaited comeback.

The lead character of the show, Dilip Joshi who plays the role of Jethalal in the show also thanked all his fans for their appreciation and appreciation and promised to keep winning over his fans. The inspiration of ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ was inspired by Taarak Bhai Mehta’s iconic column and it was given a fresh touch to the television show and thus presented to the audience.

The first episode of the show was released on 28 July 2008, and since then the television show has taken off on social media garnering a cult classic and meme status. As the show progressed, many of the lead actors were replaced, however, the iconic character of ‘Dayaben’ was never replaced by another actor due to Disha Vakani’s huge fan-following.

Becoming a common household name, the actress will make her comeback after a six-year-long break from the show and thus reprise her role as the iconic ‘Dayaben’.
