A source close to the film’s update quoted News18 as saying that Jawan will retain its original release date of June 2. It was reported that the film has been postponed to October due to the heavy VFX involved in the film. Later it was said that Jawan will release on August 25. But now latest reports have confirmed that Jawan will go ahead with her original plan. But the final decision will be taken soon. The source also tells the entertainment news portal that the makers of Jawan do not have any elaborate plans to promote the Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi starrer. The makers are well aware of the huge buzz around the film in the market. He is most likely to follow the same path as Pathan. “They may release the trailer of the film 10-15 days prior to the release,” added the report.
Shahrukh Khan to promote his film in IPL 2023 final?
The News18 report further claims that Shah Rukh Khan will be seen promoting his film at the IPL 2023 final. Just like he did with Pathan in the FIFA World Cup final in Qatar. The superstar is expected to make some big announcement regarding the film in the finale. Talking about the film Jawan, it is being said that Deepika Padukone will be seen in a cameo in the film. Sanjay Dutt, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani and Sunil Grover are also said to be part of the jawan.
As per reports, Vijay Sethupathi is charging Rs 21 crore for the film. There have also been reports of Thalapathy Vijay doing a cameo.
