Mumbai: Madhura Naik, famous actress of TV serials including ‘Pyaar Ki Yeh Ek Kahani’ and ‘Naagin’, has said that her cousin sister and brother-in-law were ‘brutally murdered’ four days ago during the Israel-Hamas conflict. In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Naik, who described herself as a Jew of Indian origin, claimed that her relatives were murdered on October 7. Naik said, “My cousin sister Odaya was brutally murdered along with her husband in front of their two children. The grief and shock that I and my family are facing today cannot be expressed in words. Today the whole of Israel is in pain.

The actress said, “The children of Israel, the women there and the roads there are burning in the fire of anger of Hamas. Women, children, the old and the weak are being targeted.” After sharing a photo of his sister and family on social media, Naik said he was ”shocked to see how deeply entrenched the pro-Palestinian Arab propaganda is. “I was shamed, humiliated and targeted because I was Jewish,” he said in the video.
