Now it is heard that a sequel to Dhadkan may be made. The news of Dhadkan 2 being in the pipeline was confirmed by Dhadkan director Dharmesh Darshan in a new interview. The filmmaker said that Ratan Jain, the producer of the classic film released in 2000, has offered Dhadkan 2. Speaking with Bollywood Hungama, Dharmesh said, “At this moment, all I can say is that yes, I have been offered Dhadkan 2 by Ratan Jain, who is also the producer of Dhadkan. He has been offering me films for a decade. Ever since I was told Dhadkan was a classic, I’ve been resisting it because I wasn’t convinced. It’s like making a second part of Sometimes! Dhadkan is not an action entertainer or a comic caper. This is a film with a lot of soul. It has stood the test of time. I don’t believe in capitalizing on it. But now I feel that after the huge success of Gadar 2, people have become very worried. So, in the last 10-15 days I was offered the film once again.
