Milan is releasing on 22nd March while Raja Salhes is releasing on 29th March. The third film Kavi Vidyapati has also received the certificate from the Censor Board, but its release date has not been announced yet. Another special thing this week is that for the first time an actor has been repeated by a Maithili film production company. Sanjeev Poonam Mishra’s two consecutive films are reaching theatres. In such a situation, the Maithili film industry, which was deprived of a star artist till now, seems to be getting a star in the form of Sanjeev.

The film Milan, produced under the banner of RSJ Production and directed by Shashi Pathak, is going to be released simultaneously in many cinema houses in Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand and Nepal on 22 March. The producers of this film are Ramsundar Jha and Manorama Jha, while Sanjeev Prinam Mishra, Megha Saxena and Sagar Jha have played the lead roles in the film. Producer of the film Milan, Manorama Jha says that this film is for pure entertainment and is worth the money. Regarding the production of Maithili films one after the other within a year, Manorama Jha says that making a Maithili film is a difficult task, but it is even more difficult to take the film to the theatre. Firstly, there are very few theaters in our area and those that are there do not provide screens for Maithili cinema. In such a situation, good films remain waiting for theaters to be made.

On the question of repeating Sanjeev as a hero in Milan after Maithili, Manorama Jha said that Sanjeev is a proud, disciplined and dedicated artiste. Therefore, there was no problem in working with him for the second time also. In this film, all the actors are from Mithila region. While Sanjeev is from Darbhanga, Megha Purnia is from Baneli. Both of them have played their characters well.

Sanjeev Poonam Mishra, who has made his strong presence felt in the field of acting with the Hindi film Chilam Chowki and the Maithili film Maithili, says that this film was to be released before Corona, but due to the lockdown, it is coming to the theaters now. Sanjeev says that the biggest thing about this film is that its entire shooting has been done in such places of Bihar which till now has rarely been seen on the cinematic screen. In such a situation, this film will give a better option of location to filmmakers across the country. Sanjeev says that if films are made and people watch them, the area will develop. In South India, people go to theaters to watch movies to celebrate small happiness, but this culture is not there in North India, especially Bihar. Due to this the development of cinema has reduced here.

Raja Salhesh will be released on 29th

The second film Raja Salhesh is being released this week. This film, made under the CMJ banner, will be released in theaters on March 29. Based on the story of Ajit Azad, Raja Salhej has been shown like a superhero in this film. Talking to journalists in this regard, Ajit Azad said that the story of Raja Salhesh has been shown in detail in this film. The producer of this film is Chandra Mohan Jha, while the film is directed by renowned director Santosh Badal. The music of the film has been given by Dnyaneshwar Dubey, Priyaranjan Sinha, Divya Gautam, Pooja Thakur and Naveen Choudhary have played the lead roles in the film.
