Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s Diwali release ‘Tiger 3’ got a tremendous opening in theatres. This spy-thriller directed by Maneesh Sharma is performing very well at the box office in India.
In three days, ‘Tiger 3’ earned a total of Rs 146 crore in India. By today i.e. 15th November it will cross the coveted figure of Rs 150 crore.
‘Tiger 3’ is the fifth installment of YRF’s espionage franchise. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, it was one of the most anticipated films of the year, opening to rave reviews.
The action-thriller earned Rs 44.50 crore across all languages on its opening day in India. According to trade reports, on the third day i.e. on 14th November, the film collected Rs 42.50 crore at the box office. Now the total collection of ‘Tiger 3’ in India has reached Rs 146 crore. The film got an overall occupancy of 33.54 percent.
‘Tiger 3’ comes in the YRF spy universe after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif will be seen reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya respectively in the film.
‘Tiger 3’ has been produced by Aditya Chopra. Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have made cameos in the film. Its soundtrack is composed by Pritam, while the background score is composed by Tanuj Tiku.
Reportedly, ‘Tiger 3′ was made on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore, thus making it Yash Raj Films’ most expensive project. The film has broken the records of Gadar 2 and Jawan.
Talking about the film, Manish Sharma had shared, “India’s number one agent is India’s enemy number one this time and I think people will enjoy watching this ground-breaking action entertainer.

Talking about the OTT release of Tiger 3, the film may come on OTT three months after its theatrical release. Its rights are expected to go to Amazon Prime Video only.
