According to industry tracker Sacanilc, the film recorded its lowest collection ever on Friday as it could earn only Rs 3.5 crore.
On the 13th day i.e. 24th November, the total collection of the film has reached approximately Rs 258.37 crore. However, the occupancy percentage increased during evening and night shows.
Salman Khan will face some competition from his niece Alizeh Agnihotri, whose debut film ‘Farre’ released on November 24. This did not have much impact on the collection of ‘Tiger 3’.
‘Tiger 3’ is the fifth installment of YRF’s espionage franchise. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, it was one of the most anticipated films of the year.
‘Tiger 3’ comes in the YRF spy universe after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’ and ‘Pathan’. Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are seen reprising their roles as detectives Avinash and Zoya respectively in the film.
Emraan Hashmi played the role of the antagonist and actors like Revathi and Vishal Jethwa were also part of the cast. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is produced by Aditya Chopra. Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan have made cameos in the film.
The film proved to be Salman’s biggest opener, beating Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat (42.30 crore) in 2019 and Sooraj Barjatya’s Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (40.35 crore) in 2015, which were also released on Diwali.
