The film has so far collected Rs 95.88 crore nett at the box office in its ten-day run. The gross box office collection is Rs 109.15 crore. The film earned Rs 3.37 crore on Friday, the 10th day.

After the film achieved consecutive double-digit figures on its first five days, the box office collection declined by over 50 percent on the first Monday. The film released on a Wednesday, which was a holiday for the festival of Holi, and extended its first weekend in theatres. However, the film is now being replaced by four new films released this week – Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway, Zwigato, Shazam! Fury of the Gods and Possession are competing at the box office. Most notably from the Hollywood film Shazam: The Fury of the Gods which has been released in Hindi as well as in English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages. The film opened well at the box office against Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway and Kapil Sharma’s Zwigato.

Pathan and Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar have come as a breather for Bollywood, as films like Akshay Kumar’s Selfie and Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada failed to attract the audience. Tu Jhoothi ​​Main Makkar also stars Anubhav Singh Bassi, Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor in pivotal roles.
