Mumbai Dancer-turned-actor Shantanu Maheshwari, who was appreciated for his work in Gangubai Kathiawadi, will soon be seen playing the role of a dentist in the upcoming streaming series Tooth Pari: When Love Bites. The series is a love story between both vampires and humans. The story follows Rumi (played by Tanya Maniktala), a vampire who loses a tooth during a hunt and comes across Roy, a dentist. This is their first meeting.
The series has been shot in Kolkata. It has the tinge of romance, mystery, suspense etc. Apart from this, Sikandar Kher, Adil Hussain, Revathi, Saswata Chatterjee and Tilottama Shome will also be seen in this thriller series.
Directed by Pratim Dasgupta, produced by Endemol Shine India, Tooth Fairy: When Love Bites will release on OTT giant Netflix on April 20, 2023.
