Trial Period Movie Review: Under the new experiment, stories are being told apart from the league. The trial period is also a story out of the league, relationships are not always made of blood, it needs emotions, but the predictable screenplay of the film has not been able to do justice to the story with this particular concept. Because of which it remains a film that can be seen once.

The story of taking father on rent

Single mother Ana (Genelia Deshmukh) is busy balancing life with her son Romi (Zidaan). Meanwhile, the son starts asking questions about his father, as the other kids at school make fun of him for it. Seeing that every item is available on a trial period of 30 days in TVS online shopping, Romi feels that even father gets a trial period. He sticks to his stubbornness. When Ana comes to know about this, she finds a way. She arranges for a hired husband and Prajapati Dwivedi (Manav Kaul) enters the story. Unemployed Prajapati is looking for work. Anna makes a condition that Prajapati should not treat Romi well, so that after the trial period, Romi will not think about her father, but in thirty days the story takes a different turn. This is the story ahead.

film’s merits and demerits

Talking about the merits, the story of the film is out of the box and the film also has a mild spice of entertainment. Which keeps tickling during the film. Talking about the flaws, the story of the film is as exciting as it seems at the concept level. It has not been able to bring that kind of thrill on the screen. The film is very predictable. The climax is easily understood. The emotional scene between mother and son is sorely missed. The characters of Manav Kaul and Genelia are suddenly seen falling in love. This thing also wears off. In between, the story starts moving away from the track. Where you feel that there was a need for some emotion and drama in the story. Apart from this, there has been repetition of scenes many times in the film. The film could have easily been reduced to twenty minutes. The music of the film is average. Cinematography definitely adds freshness to the film.

Excellent performance by Manav Kaul and Zidane

Genelia seems to be trying well in her role, but the problem with her is that still the expressions of pain and anger on her face are less perfect. She looks cute on the screen. Manav Kaul has been excellent, as expected from him. From his dialect to his body language, he has worked on everything. Zidane is remembered as a child artist. Gajraj Rao Chit is seen in a familiar style. Sheeba Chadha and Shakti Kapoor didn’t have much to do. Rest of the actors are in their roles.
