Mumbai: Actor Ishwak Singh feels a personal connection with his character in the comedy film ‘Tumse Na Ho Payega’. ‘Tumse Na Ho Payega’ is based on the modern challenges faced by today’s youth and the dilemma they face in following their path and dreams rather than following the ‘rules’ created by the society we live in. .
In the film, a group of young friends led by Ishvak and Gaurav Pandey stand against the ‘log kya kahenge’ attitude of the society. The pressure of being perfect often weighs heavily on a person and he wants to get rid of it. This is where the story of Gaurav (Ishwak Singh) begins, who wants to get out of the corporate troubles and achieve something.
Talking about his role, Ishwak said, ‘What I like most about this character is that it reminds me of the time when I set out on my own to fulfill my childhood dream. I had struggled with this, which was to become an actor.
Ishwak said, ‘It is not just corporate life that has humour. It’s satirical and incredibly relatable. I mean, that’s how we all experience the joys of life. When I read the script, it felt very relatable, like how me and my friends talk.
He said, ‘This way we used to tease each other, laugh at ourselves and not take ourselves too seriously. Many times, you get shot, and you know you can’t do anything about it, so you laugh it off. All these things, that’s the humor in it. I really enjoyed it because it felt very close to me.’
Nitesh Tiwari and Abhishek Sinha’s ‘Tumse Na Ho Payega’ is produced by Star Studios, RSVP, Roy Kapur Films, Earthsky Pictures Production. It will be streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar from September 29.
