Tunisha Sharma Suicide Case: Sheezan Khan Deleted Messages, Could Threaten Witnesses: Court

“It appears that something happened between them in the make-up room of the applicant just before the alleged incident, which compelled her to commit suicide,” the order said. Tunisha Sharma was found hanging in make-up on the sets of TV show ‘Ali Baba’ on December 24 and Sheejan was arrested the next day on charges of abetment to suicide. Sheejan is currently in judicial custody. The actor has pleaded for bail in the court.

Additional Sessions Judge RD Deshpande said in his order, “As per the prosecution, the applicant (Sheejan Khan) did not cooperate during the custodial interrogation. He did not tell anything about the conversation between 2 pm and 2.45 pm with Tunisha, who lost her life, which is the root cause of Tunisha’s suicide. The court said the investigation is on and it is a matter of concern for the prosecution that Sheejan has deleted WhatsApp chats and messages related to Tunisha and her friends.

Tunisha chased Sheejan
As per the court order, Tunisha followed Sheejan till the main gate of the studio (where the shooting was taking place) at 2:45 pm and then returned and hanged herself in the make-up room.
