54th International Cricket Stadium
The modern international cricket stadium to be built at Ganjri in Rajtalab, Varanasi, will be developed at a cost of approximately Rs 450 crore and on an area of more than 30 acres. This stadium has become the 54th international cricket stadium in the country. Till now, international cricket has been organized in 53 different stadiums in India. However, most of these stadiums are closed and some are undergoing renovation.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, ‘The foundation stone of the International Cricket Stadium was laid in Kashi today. This stadium will be a boon not only for Varanasi but also for the youth of Purvanchal. This stadium will be dedicated to Mahadevala. Players in Kashi or international stadium will be benefited. This stadium is Anekanna Star Banvel of Purvanchal Pradesh. Today the world is connected with India through cricket. New countries of the world are coming forward to play cricket. Naturally, the number of cricket officials will only increase in the coming times. Therefore, whenever there is a new stadium in front, the demand for a new stadium will increase, hence this state-of-the-art stadium in Varanasi will fulfill all the needs of the society. After the completion of this stadium, more than 30,000 people will be able to sit here and watch the match. He has received huge support from the BCCI. Proposed expenditure of Rs 121 crore for land development
The Uttar Pradesh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has proposed to spend Rs 121 crore for the construction and land development of the International Cricket Stadium in Varanasi. Apart from this, BCCI will spend Rs 330 crore for the construction of the stadium. With this, Uttar Pradesh will get its third stadium. There are many international venues like Green Park in Kanpur and Atal Bihari Vajpayee Stadium in Lucknow.
