Varun Dhawan and Karan Johar join hands, will return with the third installment of Dulhania in 2024

Varun Dhawan, who is one of the most successful actors in the romantic comedy genre, is all set to make a comeback with the third installment of the ‘Dulhania’ series.After the massive success of Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Karan Johar Has joined hands with Varun for the third installment of Dulhania. Varun will be reuniting with series director Shashank Khaitan for the third time for this franchise. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the upcoming film is set to go on floors in 2024 and Alia Bhatt will not be a part of the next version.
Bollywood Hungama quoted a source as saying, ”Varun, Shashank and Karan Johar have discussed many ideas for Dulhania 3 and have finally settled on one. The film is all set to go on floors in late 2024 and the makers have started looking for a new actress to play Varun’s bride. There is a high possibility for Karan and Varun to launch a new face with the new Dulhania film.
The report also reveals the time when the upcoming installment will be ready to go on floors. The source further added, “The film will go on floors by the end of 2024 after Varun Dhawan completes the shooting of his father David Dhawan’s next film produced by Ramesh Taurani.” Varun and his father David Dhawan’s project will reportedly begin shooting in March 2024.

Varun was last seen in director Nitish Tiwari’s romantic drama Bawal opposite Janhvi Kapoor. The 36-year-old actor will also be seen in the Indian adaptation of the Hollywood series Citadel alongside actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actor was recently shooting for VD18 in Kerala, where he suffered a leg injury several times.Apart from these, Varun recently appeared on the latest season of celebrity talk show Koffee with Karan with his Student of the Year co-star Sidharth Malhotra.
