Mumbai: Actor Varun Sood is preparing to play a flamboyant character in ‘Karma Calling’. He says that he has worked hard on his workout routine and diet for his character. In ‘Karma Calling’, Varun is an integral part of Alibaug society and its world of glitz, glamour, deceit and betrayal. He is torn between listening to his family and his heart.
Talking about his character, Varun said, “I am starting my series with ‘Karma Calling’. When I first met Ahaan Kothari on paper, it felt like an instant connection. It was natural to sympathize with him because I found our personalities very similar.
‘I wanted to take myself out of my comfort zone with Ahaan Kothari and his glamour.’ Decoding his workout routine, he said, ‘I have worked hard on my workout routine and diet, it’s like , which I do to bring the character to life a little more. This is my own way of living inside the character.
He further added, ‘I just wanted to bring Ahaan alive in every sense. I am sure the audience will also love Ahaan Kothari and enjoy seeing me in this new avatar.’Produced by RAT Films, directed by Ruchi Narayan, the series is releasing on January 26 on Disney Plus Hotstar.
