The audience is very disappointed with the makers of Adipurush. It was one of the biggest films of the year and everyone was looking forward to it. Not only the audience but also its lead actors appearing in the TV show ‘Ramayan’ criticized the makers for ruining the content. Recently, speaking to ‘ETimes’, Siddhant shared that he saw a 10-year-old boy dancing in the theater after watching Adipurush, which made him feel that the film will help the younger generation understand the mythological epic Ramayana.
Vibhishan of ‘Adipurush’ gave advice
He further added that such films should be made using the pop culture format, so that children can learn about Gods. Siddhant said, “I see my nephews and even some of my friends wearing superhero T-shirts, which are largely Spider-Man and Superman characters. And here we have our own history full of mythical deities whose stories are still in the books. We need to cleverly use pop culture to pass on the stories of our gods to our kids’ generation, showing them that our gods are way cooler than superheroes. I am not saying that we should not see superheroes. But now the time has come to pay attention to our gods and show these stories in the language of superheroes that today’s children see.
