Actor Vikrant Massey, who has recently been garnering appreciation for his latest offering 12th Fail, has been making headlines on social media for all the wrong reasons. In her old tweet, Goddess Sita expressed relief at being kidnapped by Ravana instead of Ram’s ‘devotees’.
He faced huge opposition on social media for this tweet, after which the actor issued an apology and clarified his ‘intentions’.
Vikrant wrote in his apology post ”With reference to one of my tweets in 2018, I would like to say a few words: It was never my intention to hurt, defame or insult the Hindu community. Not only this, the 12th Fail actor has also deleted his old tweet. Mumbai-based lawyer Ashutosh Dubey shared a screenshot of the chat he had with Vikrant Massey before his apology on Tuesday night.
