Why Dharmendra’s film ‘Chacha-Bhatija’ is going viral on social media, you will also chatter after knowing the reason
[ad_1]
The Nationalist Congress Party ie NCP has always been interfering in the politics of Maharashtra. On Wednesday, after snatching the command of the party from Sharad Pawar, his nephew Ajit Pawar took it in his hands. This is the second major incident in the state politics after the split in Shiv Sena a few months ago. Ajit Pawar is also the Deputy Chief Minister of the state at this time. To give a new dimension to his repressed political desires, Ajit Pawar gave a slap to his own uncle. Earlier it seemed that his move would split the party into two, but the condition of NCP was not like that of Shiv Sena. Now 83 years old Sharad Pawar has become sideline in his own party.
Political uncle nephew vs film uncle nephew
As soon as the discord within the NCP took a new shape on Wednesday afternoon, a round of discussions started on social media. While political analysts were busy making additions and subtractions from the equation that changed after this, gossipers started sharing the poster of Dharmendra and Randhir Kapoor’s film ‘Chacha Bhatija’.
There is no similarity between this film and the uproar in NCP except the title. But when this superhit film is being discussed, then the cinematographers can watch this funny film once again from time to time. While Dharmendra and Randhir Kapoor are in the roles of uncle and nephew in the film, Hema Malini and Yogita Bali are paired opposite them.
Manmohan Desai’s fourth consecutive superhit film was ‘Chacha Bhatija’
Released in the year 1977, ‘Chacha Bhatija’ was Manmohan Desai’s fourth consecutive superhit film. He had earlier looted Majma with ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, ‘Dharam Veer’ and ‘Parvarish’. It was also the second film of Manmohan Desai and Dharmendra after ‘Dharam Veer’. This film is available on OTT platform Prime Video.
Story of the movie ‘Chacha Bhatija’
Ranveer Singh Teja (Rehman) lives happily with his family. He is survived by his wife Seeta, son Sundar (Randhir Kapoor) and younger brother Shankar (Dharmendra). The story progresses and suddenly Sita dies. Ranveer Teja marries again. Sonia (Sonia Sahni) enters the house as the new daughter-in-law. Sonia has an evil brother Laxmidas (Jeevan), who has a sinister eye on her sister’s new palace-like in-laws’ house. Sonia and Lakshmidas now hatch a devious plan to usurp Ranveer Teja’s wealth. Soon after the marriage, misunderstandings start cropping up and Shankar has to leave the house due to this. The story turns in such a way that Sundar is also sent away from home to a boarding school by Ranveer Teja.
After this there is a long leap in the story of the film. After many years have passed, Sundar has now grown up to become a thug. While Shankar has started doing black marketing. The twist in the tale comes when Sundar and Shankar come face to face. Both are unaware of each other’s identity. But then they come to know that they are related by blood and they are uncle and nephew. Thereafter, uncle and nephew together decide to take revenge on Sonia and her traitorous brother. Can he succeed in this, you will have to watch the film to know this.
