He recalled that one day his co-writer Shaktimaan came to his house and asked for 2 minutes and said he had a story for Gadar 2. Seeing the smile on his face, Anil Sharma understood that he had cracked it. With all the experience of working with Shaktimaan, the director understood that a legitimate cracker of a story has been prepared. He then shared the story with Sunny Deol and Zee Studios and everyone liked it.
