Upasana further said, ‘It was a mutual decision between me and Ram. As a couple, we did not allow any pressure on ourselves to have a child, be it from society, from our family or from outsiders. Recently, Upasana’s baby shower took place in Dubai. Recently, in the American show ‘Good Morning America’, Ram Charan also dismissed the apprehensions that he wanted to deliver his child in America itself. Upasana had also clarified on Twitter that her delivery would be in India only.

Upasana is the Vice Chairman of Apollo Charity
Ram Charan and Upasana have been together since school days. Both have studied up to 10th class together in Chennai. Upasana Kamineni is the Vice Chairwoman of Apollo Charity. Along with this, she is also the Chief Editor of ‘B-Positive’ magazine. Upasana Kamineni’s mother Shobhana Kamineni is the Vice-Chairperson of the country’s famous Apollo Hospital. Upasana’s maternal grandfather is Pratap C. Reddy, who is the chairman of Apollo Hospitals. Reddy has established the hospital chain in the country.
