Report by Life Reporter @ Jamshedpur: Both the words rights and victims are closely related to each other when it comes to human rights. That is, those people who, knowing their rights, become victims. Every person born in this world has got the right to live life. Or we can say that they have got special rights to live a better life. Despite this people are exploited and suffering. This is because they do not know their rights. Human Rights Day is celebrated every year on 10 December across the world. Its only purpose is to make people aware of their rights. They should be made aware. Actually, there are many such organizations, organization representatives and private working people in our city, who have been making people aware of their rights for a long time. He never gets tired of making rounds from mass movements to courts to ensure that the oppressed people get their rights. Due to his efforts, many people got their lost respect, name, identity and right to live independently.

Social worker Jawaharlal Sharma is fighting for the rights of prisoners.

The word ‘human rights’ is as easy to hear and write as it is difficult to meet. This is what Sonari resident social worker Jawaharlal Sharma has to say. He has dedicated his entire life to human rights. He formed the Free Legal Aid Committee. Jawaharlal Sharma, who has been fighting for human rights for almost 40 years, says that people are not aware. Corruption is so widespread in the society that anyone who talks about rights is declared guilty. It was the era of radio when I heard about Amnesty International. Found enthusiasm there. Joined as a correspondent and started working from there. Even today the fight for the rights of prisoners continues. The matter is many years old, when PIL was filed in the Supreme Court. This case was of those prisoners who have been in jail for years waiting for the verdict. It can be said that there are 75 percent such cases in the entire country. By the time the verdict comes, a part of the prisoner’s life comes to an end completely. A film was also made on the lives of these prisoners. Whose title is Punishment before Trial. There has been a demand for arrest insurance for these prisoners. Everything and every person is insured, so why not them? As long as he is in jail, the government should pay his insurance premium. If the person is found guilty, then after the verdict, he should return this amount and after his release, he can get the insurance amount to start his life afresh.
