Brij Bhushan has been accused of sexual harassment by seven wrestlers. The protesting wrestlers said that if Brij Bhushan was involved in organizing the competitions, they would oppose the holding of the competitions. Sakshi said in the press conference, ‘I challenge the WFI president to conduct a narco test. We are also ready to get tested. Let the truth come out, who is guilty and who is not. With this, another Olympic medalist Bajrang Punia said, ‘We want all the competitions to be under the ad hoc panel of the IOA (Indian Olympic Association). If the WFI chief is involved in any way, we will oppose them.

The wrestlers have decided to wear black armbands on Thursday to protest against the ‘slow pace of investigation’ against Brij Bhushan. The protesters are demanding the arrest of Brij Bhushan for allegedly sexually abusing and intimidating seven women wrestlers, including a minor. The Delhi Police had registered two FIRs against the WFI President on April 28.

With this, the wrestlers say that until the arrest of the President of the Wrestling Federation, they will continue to sit on the dharna. Recently, there was a lot of heat between the Delhi Police and the protesting wrestlers, in which Geeta Phogat’s younger brother Dushyant Phogat was beheaded. Not only this, but a few days ago the water supply and electricity was also cut off near the wrestlers protesting at Jantar Mantar.
