New Delhi: ICC has nominated three players for the Player of the Month Award for February 2024. The names of India’s in-form opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, New Zealand’s Kane Williamson and Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka are included in this list. Jaiswal has performed well so far in the Test series against England and has been nominated for the ICC Player of the Month Award for the first time. India had a bad start after losing the Hyderabad Test by 28 runs, but India made a comeback thanks to Jaiswal’s excellent form.

Yashasvi scored back-to-back double centuries in Visakhapatnam and Rajkot. He also equaled the record of most sixes in a Test innings with 12 sixes. 22-year-old Jaiswal scored a total of 560 runs at an average of 112 at the end of February. UAE pair of Kavisha Agodej and Isha Ojha have been shortlisted along with Australian all-rounder Annabel Sutherland for the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award for February 2024.
