Yodha towards failure, earned only Rs 9 crore in two days

Fans were waiting for Siddharth Malhotra’s much awaited film ‘Yodha’ for a long time. The film hit the theaters on Friday (March 15). Its directors are Pushkar Jha and Sagar Ambre. Made at a cost of Rs 55 crore, this film needs to do a business of Rs 75 crore at the box office to recover its cost. But looking at the amount the film has earned in two days, it can be said that this is Sidharth Malhotra’s second consecutive unsuccessful film after Mission Majnu. Mission Majnu was released directly on the OTT platform, due to which nothing can be said about its box office report. However, the OTT audience did not pay much attention to this film.

It is noteworthy that Yoddha earned Rs 4.10 crore at the box office on the first day, which was much below the expectations. Even on Saturday, there was not much improvement in the film. According to the report of box office tracker Sacknilk, ‘Yoddha’ did a business of Rs 5.75 crore on the second day on March 16.

According to the opening day, there was an increase of about Rs 1.50 crore in earnings, which is not considered very effective. Today is Sunday and good earnings are expected due to the holiday. The film has earned a total of Rs 9.85 crore so far. The story of ‘Yoddha’ is based on an airplane hijack, where some terrorists hijack the plane and Siddharth, who frees the plane, fights against the terrorists and brings back all the passengers present in the plane safely.

Siddharth is playing the role of a soldier. The actor is seen in full on action mode in the film. Siddharth is seen fighting fiercely with the terrorists with a gun in his hands. People are also liking the chemistry of Siddharth and Raashi Khanna. Disha Patani has also played a strong role. The budget of this film is around Rs 55 crores.
