Advocating censorship on the OTT platform, Salman said that extremely “vulgar and violent” content is being served on the web. He said, “I think there should be some kind of censorship on OTT as there is a lot of content like nudity, obscenity, violence and foul language in it. This should be stopped because these days everything is available on smartphones… If a 15-16 year old boy/teenager sees this kind of content then it is understandable, but when your little daughter sees it, is it? feels good?”

He said, “I believe that there should be censorship of content on OTT platforms. The cleaner the material, the better.
