New Delhi: Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra on Saturday offered a job to a girl from Uttar Pradesh who saved herself and her younger sister from a monkey attack with the help of Alexa.

This 13-year-old girl from Basti district showed courage and intelligence by scaring away a monkey using Amazon’s virtual voice assistant Alexa.

The girl reportedly instructed Alexa to bark like a dog to scare away a monkey that had entered her sister’s room. The strategy worked and the girl successfully saved herself and her sister.

Responding to the incident, Anand Mahindra wrote on his official X handle: “The key question of our era is whether we will become slaves or masters of technology. The story of this young girl provides comfort that technology will always be an enabler of human ingenuity. “His quick thinking was extraordinary.”

He said the girl has shown leadership potential in a completely unpredictable world.

He wrote, after completing her education, if she ever decides to work in the corporate world, I hope that at Mahindra Rise we will be able to convince her to join us!!
