Food for five rupees through the canteen
On coming to power in Meghalaya, the BJP promised food for Rs 5 through canteens, free education for girls up to post-graduation, free scooters for girls who get high marks in college, a government bond of Rs 50,000 on the birth of a girl child, and Has promised to start a police battalion of women.
Two free LPG cylinders
The manifesto released by the BJP also promises to provide annual financial assistance of Rs 24,000 to all dependent widows and single mothers, two free LPG cylinders and 24-hour power supply to all beneficiaries of PM Ujjwala Yojana.
When is voting in Meghalaya
