8th Pay Commission: Central employees are now ready to struggle for the formation of the 8th Pay Commission and implementation of the Old Pension Scheme. The front has been opened by the country’s largest employee union, Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers. Regarding this, a meeting has been organized by the union on December 8 at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi.

A big rally is being organized by the Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers on November 3 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. In view of the assembly elections and Lok Sabha elections to be held in many states in the coming days, the Sangh is clearly saying that whichever political party promises the Eighth Pay Commission will remain in power.

The Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers has invited employees from across the country to participate in the rally to make it a success and make the government realize its strength.

The employees’ union demands that the PFRDA Act be repealed, NPS abolished and OPS restored. Along with this, contract, outsourced, daily wage employees including health, education and postal GDS should be regularized. All vacancies in central and state government departments and public undertakings should be filled immediately.

Among the demands of the Sangh, stop privatization-corporatization and downsizing of public undertakings or government departments. Also, there is a demand to review the order of cancellation of recognition of Democratic Trade Union Rights, NFPE, AIPEU Group C and ISROSA.

There is a demand to constitute the Eighth Central Pay Commission and release the seized DA, DR, pending for eighteen months (from 1-1-20 to 30-6-21) in the Covid period and to abandon the National Educational Programme.

Remove all rider-restrictions on Compassionate Employment Assistance Scheme by the Employees Union in the rally to be organized on November 3 at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
