According to Padma Purana, Rudrabhishek and worship of Lord Shiva is important on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of every month. On the Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Marshish, Agahan and Sawan month, devotees come to Takshak Tirtha to worship.
