Nag Panchami 2023: Takshak Tirtha associated with snakes, gets freedom from Kalsarp defects

This year Nag Panchami is on 20th August. On the occasion of Nag Panchami, snakes, which are considered to be the ornaments of Lord Shiva, are duly worshipped.

According to Padma Purana, Rudrabhishek and worship of Lord Shiva is important on the fifth day of Shukla Paksha of every month. On the Panchami of Shukla Paksha of Marshish, Agahan and Sawan month, devotees come to Takshak Tirtha to worship.
