AAP MLAs’ allegations – uttamhindu.com

After the AAP MP and MLA elected from Jalandhar joined the BJP, three Aam Aadmi Party MLAs have accused the BJP of trying to do horse trading by calling them from abroad. Addressing a press conference, three AAP MLAs Jagdeep Singh Goldy Kamboj (Jalalabad), Amandeep Singh Musafir (Baluana) and Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina (Ludhiana South) narrated how the BJP had approached them and asked them to join their party. How much money was offered for it? MLA Jagdeep Singh Kamboj said that yesterday (26.03.24) at around 12:52 pm I got a call from 35796718959 (Cyprus). The caller said his name was Sewak Singh and he wanted to talk to the MLA. When I told her I was, she asked if I was comfortable talking and I said yes.

He said there is an offer. We want you to join BJP. He said that this is a very good offer for me. If I have any demand, I can tell. I told them that I had no demands. Then they offered me Rs 20-25 crore to join BJP but I said I don’t need it. The AAP leader said, ‘I asked him from whom he got my number. I am not interested in this nor do I need you because we could not even imagine what the Aam Aadmi Party has done for us. AAP has given us a platform and an opportunity to represent the people. BJP government filed false cases against AAP leaders and till date no money has been received. But now they are trying to buy our MLAs and MPs but we are not going to be sold. MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina said that yesterday at around 11:00 I got a call that I was Sevak Singh. It was a call from a foreign number, he said he was calling from Delhi. He said that I should change my party and join his party (BJP). Arvind Kejriwal was raided and arrested but we are soldiers of Aam Aadmi Party. People trusted us, so we will not let them down. Amandeep Musafir said that yesterday around 12:30 pm he got a call and said that he was from Delhi. He said that I should join BJP and when I asked him the reason, he said that I will get Rs 45 crore. I was offered whatever position I wanted and security.

Nothing can be said today about how much truth is there in the allegations made by the three Aam Aadmi Party MLAs against the BJP. But what is the truth, the state and central governments should immediately investigate and put the truth before the public, it should be the priority of both the governments. Because the allegation is very serious and has the potential to tarnish the image of BJP.

Lok Sabha elections are going to be held in Punjab on 1st June, the situation should be clear before this date. BJP had earlier also been accused by the Aam Aadmi Party of trying to buy its MLAs by paying crores of rupees. Now the telephone number and name have also been given. The situation can also be clarified by True Caller. Who is Sevak Singh, what is his background? Is he an agent of some foreign agency? All this should come before the public. It is better that the allegations be investigated by an authorized agency and the truth be presented to the voters. If the allegation is false then those who made it will be in the dock, if it is true then those against whom it has been made should be in the dock. This is the need of the hour.
