Adani Group announced to invest Rs 75 thousand crore in various areas of Madhya Pradesh

Ujjain: Adani Group today announced to invest another Rs 75 thousand crore in various sectors in Madhya Pradesh. Pranab Adani, Director of Adani Enterprises and Managing Director of Agro, Oil and Gas Business of the Group, made this announcement while addressing the Regional Industry Conclave organized here in the presence of State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. He said that his group’s presence in the state extends to many sectors ranging from roads, cement and natural resources to thermal power, renewable energy and power transmission.

The overall investment of Adani Group in the state is approximately Rs 18 thousand crores and approximately 11 thousand employment opportunities have been created across the state. He said that with Adani Group continuing to invest in these sectors, investment in Madhya Pradesh will be more than doubled and will contribute to the all-round development of the state. He said, “We have confidence and we will invest about Rs 75 thousand crores in Madhya Pradesh.” Adani said that out of this, Rs 5 thousand crore will be used to build Mahakal Expressway from Ujjain to Bhopal via Indore.

A 40 lakh tonne per annum clinker unit will be set up in Choragadi and two cement grinding units with a combined capacity of 80 lakh tonne per annum in Dewas and Bhopal and an investment of Rs 5 thousand crore will be made for this. Adani Group will invest more than Rs 4 thousand crore in the natural resources sector. An investment of Rs 600 crore will be made to expand in food processing, agro-logistics, logistics and defense manufacturing.
