Shares of Adani Ports rose by 5.20 percent, Ambuja Cements by 4.22 percent and ACC by 2.62 percent.

Market cap of group Rs 11.31 lakh crore

At the end of trading on Tuesday, the combined market valuation of all 10 companies increased to Rs 11.31 lakh crore. The market valuation at the end of trading on Friday was Rs 10.26 lakh crore. Markets were closed on Monday on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. The court said that there is no reason to doubt market regulator SEBI, which is investigating the allegations against Adani Group in the Hindenburg report. The apex court also said that it is considering the claims made in the Hindenburg Report as not being completely based on facts. The court has reserved its verdict in the case.

Market capitalization of companies listed on BSE hits record Rs 331 lakh crore

The market capitalization of companies listed on BSE reached its highest ever level of Rs 331 lakh crore on Tuesday. It is now just a few steps away from entering the historic ‘club’ of $4,000 billion. At the end of trading, the market capitalization of BSE listed companies stood at Rs 3,31,05,425.71 crore. According to the exchange rate of rupee 83.34 per dollar, it comes to 3,970 billion dollars. Earlier, on May 24, 2021, the market capitalization of all the companies listed on BSE had reached $3,000 billion. The Sensex based on thirty shares had reached a record 67,927.23 points on September 15 this year. So far this year, BSE Sensex has risen 5,333.46 points or 8.76 percent. During this period, the market capitalization of all the companies listed on this platform has increased by Rs 48.67 lakh crore. The Sensex closed at 66,174.20 points on Tuesday, rising 204.16 points or 0.31 percent. The market closed with gains due to buying in selected shares in the last moments of trading.
