Adani Group’s 3 companies closed on lower circuit, NDTV lost more than 3%: Report

Mumbai : Since a report by the American shot seller company Hindenburg Research on January 24 of the first month of the year 2023, the series of decline in the shares of the companies of India’s famous business group Adani Group is continuing. In one of its reports, Hindenburg Research has accused all the companies of Gautam Adani-led Adani Group of stock manipulation and accounting fraud. Since this report became public, not only the shares of Gautam Adani’s group companies have continued to decline, but even the Government of India has been shaken. The major opposition parties have been demanding a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) inquiry on behalf of the Congress, but it is being constantly avoided by the government. At present, the situation is that on Monday also, the shares of nine companies of Adani Group have registered a decline. According to media reports, this is the result of all-round attack.
The condition of shares of 9 out of 10 companies is bad.
According to a report in the news agency Bhasha, shares of nine out of 10 listed companies of Adani Group closed in losses on Monday amid all-round selling in the broader market. With this, the process of growth in the shares of group companies for two trading sessions came to an end. Where the shares of some companies of the group reached their lower level (lower circuit) during the day’s trading. At the same time, Adani Enterprises Limited, the group’s flagship company, fell 3.84 per cent to Rs 1,805.10 on the BSE. Its market capitalization is Rs 2.05 lakh crore.
Three companies reached the lower circuit
According to the report, shares of Adani Total Gas fell 4.99 per cent to Rs 853.10, Adani Power fell 4.83 per cent to Rs 190.30 and Adani Transmission fell 1.49 per cent to Rs 1,009.60. All the three companies touched their lower circuit during the day’s trade. Besides this, Ambuja Cements fell 3.37 per cent to Rs 365.50, Adani Wilmar declined 3.16 per cent to Rs 413.85, NDTV fell 3.11 per cent to Rs 199.30 and ACC declined per cent to Rs 1,697.05.
APSEZ shares lost 1.96 per cent
Along with this, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) shares fell 1.96 per cent to close at Rs 666.75 per share. However, Adani Green Energy gained 3.91 per cent to Rs 848.75. The market valuation of the company increased to Rs 1.34 lakh crore. The 30-share Sensex closed at 57,628.95, down 360.95 points, or 0.62 per cent. The National Stock Exchange’s Nifty also closed below 17,000 points at 16,988.40 points, down 111.65 points, or 0.65 percent.
