New Delhi. Aman Kumar Singh, Corporate Brand Custodian and Head of Corporate Affairs, Adani Group, has resigned from the Board of Directors of NDTV Limited due to commitments. A corruption case is also going on against him in Chhattisgarh. New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) told the stock market last week, “Aman Kumar Singh has resigned from the post of Non-Executive Director of the company due to his personal commitments. His resignation is effective from April 1, 2023. Singh, a former Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer and a powerful bureaucrat in the previous Raman Singh-led BJP government in Chhattisgarh, was then principal secretary to the chief minister.
He resigned from the job and joined the Adani Group in November 2022 as Corporate Brand Mentor and Head of Corporate Affairs. After Adani acquired NDTV, Adani Group inducted Singh on the board of directors of NDTV. The Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) of Chhattisgarh had in February 2022 registered a case against Singh and his wife Yasmin Singh in the disproportionate assets case.
