Describing the acquisition of the Haifa port as a “milestone”, Netanyahu said it would enhance connectivity between India and Israel through multiple channels. Haifa port is the second largest port in Israel in terms of cargo ships while the largest port in terms of tourist ships. Netanyahu said, “I think this is a milestone. For almost 100 years and during the First World War, Indian soldiers helped the city of Haifa to gain independence. Investors from the same India are helping to liberate the Haifa port.
Netanyahu said he has discussed with his “good friend” Prime Minister Narendra Modi the issue of building connectivity between the two countries through multiple channels. On this occasion, Adani said that his group would also develop a real estate project in Haifa. We are also in the process of setting up an AI lab in Tel Aviv, which will work in close collaboration with our new AI labs in India and the US, Adani said. The Adani Group has forged key partnerships over the past six years with companies such as Elbit Systems, Israel Weapon Systems and the Israel Innovation Authority.
