Adani Total Energies E-Mobility Limited is increasing the use of electric vehicles as part of its drive to rapidly build infrastructure for electric vehicle recharging in response to the growing awareness in India to reduce air pollution. (ATEL) EV with Prakriti E-Mobility (Avera). Will create strong infrastructure for charging.

Prakriti E-Mobility is an all-electric cab aggregator. This partnership will be an integrated super hub of 200 EV charging points in Delhi. This strategic partnership will be scaled up across India to accelerate efforts to rapidly decarbonize the environment.

This partnership has come at an opportune time given the rapidly growing adoption of electric vehicles in the country. While the current infrastructure for charging is still lacking, this partnership, backed by the growing trend towards electric vehicles in the cab hailing segment, will catalyze the achievement of India’s decarbonisation target by 2030.

Through this joint effort, ATEL and EVRA hope to bridge the existing EV infrastructure gap in India, providing convenient and fast AC charging and DC solutions targeting major highways, workplaces and other locations.

Adani Total Gas Ltd CEO and Executive Director Suresh P. Mangalani said the proposed hub is strategically located near Delhi International Airport and will support EVERA in providing green ride to customers.

The hub will involve the commissioning of approximately 200 EV charging points, which will be a combination of AC and DC chargers. The proposed large scale EV charging station at Samalkha will be convenient for use by other aggregators and individual EV owners to enhance cross-use and improve the EV ecosystem in New Delhi. This model will be gradually expanded across India. ATEL and Evra will enable this infrastructure on a revenue sharing model.

Commenting on the partnership, Nimish Trivedi, Co-founder and CEO, Ivera, said that the tie-up will address the charging concerns of Ivera cab drivers and other electric vehicle owners for long distance trips.
