Adani unit to set up EV charging station at new MG dealership

A joint venture unit of Adani Group and French energy company TotalEnergies will install EV charging stations at new MG dealerships to strengthen the charging network.
“Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Limited (ATEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL), and MG Motor India have entered into a partnership to strengthen the EV charging infrastructure in India,” the company said in a statement on Monday. Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Under the MoU, ATEL will install CC2 60 kW DC chargers at upcoming MG dealerships to strengthen the charging network and increase customer reach. Chief Growth Officer, MG Motor India said, “MG is committed to carbon neutrality, sustainability and green transportation. We are delighted to embark on a new journey with Adani TotalEnergies e-Mobility Limited. This will become a source of inspiration for the adoption of electric vehicles in India.
Suresh P. Mangalani, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), ATGL, said, “The partnership between Adani TotalEnergies e-Mobility Limited and MG Motor India to develop charging infrastructure is an important milestone. It will play an important role in accelerating India’s energy transition. This effort will contribute to reducing carbon emissions and promoting a clean and green environment.
