Adipurush: Promotion of magnum opus will start on Ram Navami, trailer will be released this month

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush is about a spin-off from the epic story of Ramayana, starring Prabhas as Ram, Saif Ali Khan as Ravana and Kriti Sanon as Janaki. However, ever since the film’s teaser released, it received massive backlash from the audience for its poor VFX and wrong portrayal of the characters. However, now there are reports that the promotion campaign of this film is being started from Ram Navami.

The makers of Adipurush took a long break from all promotions after the backlash as they wanted to improve their VFX and visuals of the film. However, as the big release date of the film draws closer, fans are inquiring about the updates on the film. And now, we have an update.

As per a report in Pinkvilla, a source close to the film revealed, Adipurush celebrates the victory of good over evil. It is a retelling of the Indian epic – Ramayana – and what better day than Ram Navami to launch its promotional campaign? The team is determined to launch it on March 30, 2023.

The film’s insider says that the film will be promoted from Ram Navami and the trailer of the film will be released in May, as the release date of the film is June 16, 2023, till then its promotion will be maintained.

Earlier, when Kriti Sanon was promoting her last film Bhediya, the actress spoke to the media about all the rumors and negativity that Adipurush got due to poor VFX. An excerpt from what he had shared, the one minute 35 second teaser surfaced, according to a report in Hindustan Times. There is a lot more in the film which he (Om) needs to work on and needs time.
