Pankaj Tripathi

One of the finest talents in the Indian entertainment industry, Pankaj Tripathi hails from the Gopalganj district of Bihar. The Mirzapur actor moved to Patna after high school to study at the Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur. He then joined the National School of Drama, from where he graduated in 2004.

Imtiaz Ali

Known for directing some of the best romantic films in the last 2 decades, Imtiaz Ali hails from a Muslim family from Jamshedpur in Bihar (now Jharkhand). The Jab We Met director completed his early education at St. Michael’s High School, Patna, and later joined DBMS English School, Jamshedpur. For further education, Imtiaz joined the Hindu College, University of Delhi, where he started a drama society called Ibtida. He later moved to Mumbai to pursue a diploma course from Xavier Institute of Communication.

Manoj Bajpayee

Manoj Bajpai, a resident of a small village near Bettiah in Bihar’s West Champaran district, studied till class 12 from Maharani Janki Kunwar College. After moving to Delhi, Manoj joined Satyavati and Ramjas College, University of Delhi.

Shatrughan Sinha

Born in Patna, Bihar, Shatrughan Sinha obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Patna Science College. He then obtained a diploma in acting from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput, one of the top actors of Bollywood, was born in Patna, Bihar. Kai Po Che! The actor studied at St. Karen’s High School in Patna and later joined Kulachi Hansraj Model School in Delhi. For further education, Sushant took admission in Delhi College of Engineering to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. However, he dropped out of college to try his luck in action and showbiz.
