But do you know which countries have the best pension system in the world? Mercer CFA Institute has released the Global Pension Index. However, you will be sad to know that India is not included in the top 10 countries in this list.
Netherlands is at number one
Netherlands is the first name on the Global Pension Index of Mercer CFA Institute. The institute has given this country 85.0 points with A grade in its list.
Iceland got grade ‘A’
Iceland has got second place in the Global Pension Index. In terms of pension, Iceland has got a score of 83.5. The facilities of pensioners are also taken very good care of here.
Denmark and Israel got better marks
Denmark has got 81.3 points with ‘A’ grade in the global index. Whereas, Israel, the horror of war, has got 80.8 points with A grade. Both the countries occupy third and fourth positions respectively in the index. Australia’s retirement pension system has been ranked fifth in the Global Pension Index.
Finland has better facilities than Singapore
Finland and Singapore have been given almost normal marks in the Global Pension Index. The grade of both is B+. But Finland has been given 76.6 points and Singapore has been given 76.3 points.
United Kingdom got tenth place
In terms of pension system, Norway has got 74.4 points with B grade. Whereas, Sweden’s pension system has got 74.0 points with B grade. In this top ten list, the pension system of the United Kingdom is at tenth place. It has received 73.0 points with B grade.
