After saving his party, Sharad Pawar now wants a bigger role in the anti-Modi front

As everyone had guessed, after playing the game of resignation, Sharad Pawar has emerged as a winner in this whole battle. Anyway, people who have been following Pawar’s political journey closely have believed that like a game of chess, Pawar has been famous for keeping several goals in front and moving his pawns forward. Therefore, it is believed that by playing the trick of resignation, while on one hand he made his nephew Ajit Pawar understand that he is the real boss of NCP, on the other hand he also told the MLAs who wanted to rebel within the party. Without the blessings of Sharad Pawar, it will be very difficult to win his election next time, on the other hand everyone inside and outside the party has realized what is the stature of his daughter Supriya Sule and the biggest and most important thing is that Pawar Has made Maharashtra as well as the whole country understand very well that at this stage of his age, he is ready to play a big bet in national politics for the last time. Nitish Kumar, who is on a political tour across the country with the aim of trying for opposition unity, K. From Chandrashekhar Rao and Mamata Banerjee to the Congress which dreams of ousting Modi from power in 2024 at any cost, Sharad Pawar has given a clear political message that he is ready to play a bigger role in national politics. He has also tried to give a message to the BJP that if an attempt is made to break his party in Maharashtra, then the BJP may have to face the consequences at the national level.

It is absolutely true that Sharad Pawar is becoming very important for the Congress. In recent times, Pawar has not only played an important role in resolving the differences between the Shiv Sena and Rahul Gandhi on the Savarkar issue, but has also tried to convince Rahul Gandhi which issues he should raise in national politics and which issues Let go and move forward. But after playing such an important role, there was no political discussion about whether Sharad Pawar could be made the convenor of the Congress-led UPA coalition. So far, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been the most discussed for this post and certainly Pawar will not be happy to ignore himself.

Sharad Pawar, who has increased his political stature several times through rebellion in Maharashtra politics, is well aware that this time whichever leader will be the convenor of the UPA, his claim will be the highest for the country’s highest post i.e. Prime Minister’s post. Because this time the UPA alliance that will be formed or the front that will be formed against Modi, perhaps for the first time, not Congress but other regional parties will play an important role. Leaders of most of the regional parties are either Chief Ministers in their respective states or aspire to become Chief Ministers as no successor is yet ready in the party. All the opposition parties are not in a position to blindly trust Nitish Kumar, who is seen at the forefront of this race. In such a situation, if the Congress, especially the Gandhi family, is seen standing with it, its claim will be the strongest.

Pawar has high hopes from Sonia Gandhi as well as Uddhav Thackeray. He has full confidence that if there is a possibility of any Marathi leader becoming the Prime Minister in future, then Shiv Sena will be seen standing with him completely and Congress MPs from Maharashtra will also support him, so he will take his position at such an important stage of politics. Certainly cannot allow nephew Ajit Pawar to break the party.

The manner in which Sharad Pawar is making announcements after withdrawing his resignation from the post of National President of NCP also gives an idea that he is ready to play a bigger role in national politics. He said he would play a role in bringing the opposition parties together against the BJP. Next year, before the Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2024, we will also try to prepare a common minimum program of the opposition. He said that elections will be held at many places in the next 10-11 months. Nitish Kumar, Arvind Kejriwal, K. Leaders like Chandrasekhar Rao and Mamata Banerjee are trying to unite the opposition. I will participate in bringing the opposition together by formulating a common minimum programme. In a hint of his future important political role, Pawar also said that leaders of various political parties in Maharashtra and across the country had requested him to continue as the party president of the NCP.

Sharad Pawar never denied that he wants to sit on the biggest post of this country i.e. Prime Minister. In 1991, when the Congress chose Narasimha Rao as its prime minister, Pawar was also one of the contenders for the post. After Rao became the prime minister, Pawar became a minister in the central government but continued his efforts. It is said that Rao made him the Chief Minister and sent him back to Maharashtra after being upset with his political stakes. Staying inside the Congress in the year 1999, Pawar also raised the issue of Sonia Gandhi’s foreign origin at that time because at that time he felt that most of the Congress leaders would stand with him on this issue, but later on he felt that He has been sidelined, so he immediately forged an alliance with the Congress in Maharashtra as an NCP leader. After that, first Congress-NCP alliance and later Congress-NCP and Shiv Sena coalition government was formed in Maharashtra. That’s why it is believed that Sharad Pawar, who is famous for his political tricks, has kept many arrows hidden in his quiver which he can use in the coming days.
