Agreement between Uttar Pradesh government, Korea province for bilateral cooperation

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday between the Government of Uttar Pradesh and the Gyeongsang Buk-do Province of the Republic of Korea. Under the MoU, educational, economic and cultural ties will be encouraged for progress and development in both the provinces. According to an official statement, a high-level delegation led by Governor Lee Cheolwoo of Gyeongsang Buk-do province of the Republic of Korea (South Korea) reached Uttar Pradesh on Monday for signing the MoU.
Manoj Kumar Singh, Commissioner, Infrastructure and Industrial Development, and Lee Youngseok, Director General, Bureau of Economic and Industrial Affairs, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, signed the MoU on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, present in the program organized on the occasion of the agreement, talked about the importance of partnership and opening new doors of development and cooperation between the two regions. He said that this agreement is an important step towards deepening bilateral cooperation between Gyeongsangbuk-do province of South Korea and Uttar Pradesh. The exchange of expertise in various fields and the promotion of mutual investment will accelerate the prosperity and progress of Gyeongsangbuk-do province and Uttar Pradesh.
