Air India: Pilot made cockpit living room for female friend, got liquor arranged, now investigation will be done

Air India News: Aviation regulator Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has asked to take action on a pilot of Air India flight coming from Dubai to Delhi. Actually, the pilot violated the safety rules during the flight on 27 February. According to the information, a crew member of Air India flight has complained against the pilot. It has been said in the complaint that the pilot gave entry to his female friend in the cockpit and both stayed there for more than an hour. At present, the DGCA has ordered an inquiry into the matter and the airline has grounded the pilot till the investigation.

At the same time, on this matter, an official of Air India airline said that a committee has also been formed to investigate this matter. According to the Hindustan Times report, the pilot is accused of making the cockpit look like a living room. He had already instructed the cabin crew to welcome his lady friend. There is also an allegation on the pilot that he had fed food to his friend in business class. However, Air India spokesperson refused to comment on the matter.

The pilot got a comfortable bed installed in the cockpit itself.

According to the crew member’s complaint, the pilot had asked the cabin crew if there were any vacant seats in the business class. Because, her friend was traveling in economy class. The pilot wanted it to be upgraded. The crew member informed him that no seat was vacant, then the pilot got a comfortable bed installed in the cockpit itself. Apart from this, he also asked to arrange snacks and liquor there. On this the crew member said, I am not comfortable doing all this in the cockpit. On this the pilot’s attitude towards the crew member changed and he started treating him like a servant.
