New Delhi. Air India on Tuesday said that a passenger on board an Air India flight from Mumbai to the national capital on June 24 misbehaved. The airlines further said that the passenger was handed over to security personnel after the aircraft landed at the Delhi airport. Police has registered a complaint and the incident has also been reported to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). According to the police, a man has been arrested for allegedly defecating and urinating on the floor of the aircraft.
This man named Ram Singh defecated, urinated and spit in the ninth row of the plane. According to the FIR, the crew warned the passenger and separated him from others. Incidents of unruly behavior of passengers during flight are on the rise in recent times. Air India follows a zero-tolerance policy on such unruly and unacceptable behaviour, said an airlines spokesperson. We are extending full cooperation in the investigation.
