Vinay Dubey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Akasa Air, said its entry into Qatar marks the next phase of growth as it is poised to become one of the top 30 airlines in the world by the end of this decade.

New Delhi. Akasa Air will begin its international operations on March 28 with a flight from Mumbai to Doha. “Akasa Air will operate four direct flights a week from March 28, 2024, connecting Mumbai with (Qatar’s capital) Doha,” the airline said in a statement issued on Friday. This will increase air connectivity between Qatar and India.” Vinay Dubey, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Akasa Air, said its entry into Qatar marks the next phase of growth as it is poised to become one of the top 30 airlines in the world by the end of this decade. Akasa Air, which will commence operations in August 2022, currently operates its flights with 23 Boeing 737 Max aircraft.
